The Magellenic Class Explorator is a class of Adeptus Mechanicus ship usually attached to an Explorator Fleet.[1c]
Description
Two miles long,[1a] the Magellenic has crew of 40,000 people and weighs millions of tons.[1d]. It is built for exploration, to pursue the Quest for Knowledge, and is equipped with sensors to scan nebulae and quasars, but is also adept at combat, armed with lances, macrocannons, graviton pulsars, laser cannons and hundreds of macro-bolters for point-defence.[1a]
Furthermore, the Magellenic Class Explorator is equipped with a teleportation array.[1e]
