History
Belial IV was once one of the thriving worlds at the heart of the Eldar Empire. For millennia it was a prosperous paradise of luxurious and beautiful cities at the centre of a web of influence. The cataclysmic birth of Slaanesh that tor tore the empire apart turned the world into a blasted wasteland and purgatory for the dead and all their treasures and riches, hidden within haunted cities. Countless waystones are scattered across the world to this day.6a
During the Imperium's First Survey, Belial was marked on the star charts of the Imperium as Forbidden under the interdict of the Ecclesiarchy. It was rumoured in the Imperium to be haunted, covered in the ruins of a lost race, and steeped in ancient evil.2b
