Interceptor Squads are similar to [[Grey Knights Strike Squad|Strike Squads]], carrying similar armaments but additionally equipped with personal backpack [[teleporter]]s, allowing them to "shunt" themselves through [[Warpspace]] to another location on the battlefield.{{Fn|1}}
The distance covered in one "shunt" can be enormous, and their personal teleporters can react to battlefield circumstances on the fly. Of all the warriors in the [[Imperium]], only the Grey Knights can hope to successfully use such dangerous technology, for only their minds are strong enough to endure exposure to the Warp.{{Fn|2}}
