Bennek was a Battle Brother of the Blood Angels in late M41.

A Marine of Brother Rafen's squad, Bennek perished on the Cemetery World of Cybele in combat with the Word Bearers Dark Apostle Iskavan the Hated.[1][3]
Later, after Rafen's wargear was destroyed in battle with Iskavan on Shenlong, his replacement wargear included parts incorporated from Bennek's.[2][3]
