Cara Marner was a Rogue Trader and a scion of House Marner, who was active in the Koronus Expanse in mid-M41[1b]
History
Her House entered into a blood feud with House Sult in 520.M41, when they clashed in the Battle of Embers.[1a] Hyperia Sult deepened the feud in 577.M41, when he killed Cara's grandfather, Aton. His death also sparked a succession crisis within House Marner. This was ultimately resolved when the House's Warrant of Trade was passed to Cara. At that time, she was living on Fenksworld in the Calixis Sector and had never set foot on a ship before.[1b]
