Chronometric Crystal
Chronometric Crystals are shimmering artificial crystals, that may hold the ability to unravel the vagaries of time itself.[1]
Description
Though their origins have long been lost, Chronometric Crystals were created through the use of eldritch technology and they appear in outcroppings of shimmering formations. These can even appear on starships, as is what happened in M42 when the Crsytals were discovered in an ancient vessel encrusted with aeons of grime. When this became well known, the starship became a battleground, as various factions sought to claim ownership of the Chronometric Crystals and the ancient technology left aboard the vessel. In doing so, the victors would be able to analyze the Crystals' properties and use the technology to possibly unlock the secrets of their creation.[1]
