Grice was the Governor of the Imperial planet Gravalax in late M41.^[1a]

Secretly, however, Gravalax had been subverted over the years by the influence of a Genestealer Cult and Grice was one of its highest-ranking members. The Cult's activities were exposed during the Gravalax Incident and the traitorous Governor was executed by Inquisitor Amberley Vail.^[1b]
