Nakir
Nakir, the Master of Souls, is the Grand Master of the Consecrators Chapter. Considered an enigma by the rest of the Unforgiven, he spends much of his time in the catacombs of his flagship, the Reliquaria.[1a]
Biography
Nakir was an Interrogator-Chaplain of the Consecrators before he ascended to become Grand Master of the Chapter, earning six black pearls.[1a] Leading a Chapter known to send missions into the ruins of Caliban in search of relics of the Dark Angels Legion, he is believed to know more about its history than even Ezekiel.[1b]
Nakir recovered the Sword of Sanctity, the lost Heavenfall Blade of Grand Master Orias, presenting it to Supreme Grand Master Azrael of the Dark Angels two decades later when he answered summons to the site of destroyed Caliban. Azrael bade him keep the sword by right of recovery. In the battle that followed against the Chaos Space Marine forces led by Typhus, Nakir was given command of the Rock while Azrael assaulted the Terminus Est.[1b]
During the Arks of Omen Campaign, Nakir led his Chapter alongside a massive Unforgiven armada in the Battle of Idolatros. During the battle, Nakir was placed by Azrael in command of The Rock and its accompanying armada while the Dark Angels high command boarded Wyrmwood.[2]
