Plasma Drive

Plasma Drives are a propulsion technology used in Imperial ships. They utilize plasma for thrust over relatively short distances in space, whereas for interstellar travel a vessel will rely on its Warp Drive.^[1] Tough and reliable and not nearly as dangerous as a Warp Drive, Plasma Drives allow a spaceship to move from one end of a system to the other in a reasonable timeframe.^[2]
