The True Sons of Lorgar are a warband of Heretic Astartes, dedicated to the Dark Gods.^[1a]

A band of cultists under the command of True Sons Dark Apostle Aneath was led by Traitor Commissar Marvarry in an attack on a church dedicated to the Blood Angels Primarch Sanguinius. This ill-fated mission brought the group into deadly conflict with the legendary Grot Da Red Gobbo.^[1b]
