Welcome to Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum! We hope you will contribute much and well. You will probably want to read the Help section. Again, welcome and have fun! Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 19:52, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

Pointers

Please check my changes to your recently editted articles/ files, thx. Also please note that when a source has "sub-sources" you do not turn the number in front of the main source into a footnote. I.e. if there is a source 4a, 4b, 4c etc. you type *4: text: and not {{Endn|4}}: text, thx. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 23:02, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

Internal linking exemplified on the page for Moebian Regiments

Hello, please note that Lexicanum policy is to insert internal links even for articles that do not exist yet, so to create so-called "red links". The point of this is to a) already lay the groundwork and interconnections for future articles instead of having to go back and b) to allow the system to pick up which articles are most linked-to but do not exist yet. Thanks. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 21:18, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

And you should place (and later remove when finished) a {{WIP}} tag at the top article so people can see that the article is currently being revised or created. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 21:32, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

Rocyria

  • Hello, just a quick question on your article for Rocyria - it claims that Rocyria was incorporated into the Moebian Domain in M43? Is this a typo? Because M43 hasn't happened yet in-universe? Or is this a local Moebian calendar? KazilDarkeye (talk) 20:18, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
  • Thanks, yes this was a typo. I've corrected it to be M34 as well as sited the source. Thanks for quickly catching the mistake.

Correcting

Signing and assumptions

1.) Please sign your (user) talk page contributions by typing --~~~~ which will be automatically transformed into a time-stamped signature, thx.
2.) Quoting you "Montar System mentioned in Darktide. Assumed link to Montar VII based on name". That you cant do purely based on name. GW has a long history of using the same names for entirely different places. The general rule is: Do not assume, extrapolate or interprete.
--Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 11:03, 14 March 2024 (UTC)

Response

Alright got it, my mistake. I'll trim that off the Montar System then and be sure to sign on any communications with --~~~~, thanks. --RabsRabble (talk) 04:50, 15 March 2024 (UTC)

Darktide board game

Hello, this page already exists : Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (Board Game) --Siegfriedfr (talk) 21:19, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Duplicate page purged and put up for deletion. --RabsRabble (talk) 21:34, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Sorry for using your main page, i tend to make that mistake. No need to delete, just put a #redirect link. sorry you put alot of time into this, didn't catch you in time.--Siegfriedfr (talk) 21:45, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for redirecting it. You still caught me pretty working on it pretty quickly, to my surprise. So no worries! --RabsRabble (talk) 21:54, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Tertium images

I was going to add some images to the different sections of Tertium and since its largely your project I wanted to ask which you prefer? The mission thumbnails from the Mourningstar or from their socials (https://x.com/Darktide40K/status/1599789027754119169/photo/1) if at all? Thanks, keep up the good work! --HunterWorld (talk) 14:25, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

Hey HunterWorld! Glad to see someone else is interested in the work. I haven't updated any of the Lexicanum pages for a bit lol. Feel free to add some writing the the many pages than need updated, which is most.

As for the images, I think some with the text and branding might be best. Usually the text of those images aren't the actual area being shown. Although that one specifically of Magestrati Oubliette is less incorrect than most of those map promo pictures (the area being shown is HL-18-66 Magistratum - Mag House).

New citation requirement update for websites

In case this concerns your work, see here. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 14:30, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

Demerium

Please add the missing citations, thank you. Unsourced information still found on the next sweep will be deleted on sight as stated in the citation rules. --Inquisitor S., Großmeister des Ordo Lexicanum (talk) 12:26, 29 December 2024 (UTC)

Source for Regimental Standard stuff

You've formatted the archive link for the Regimental Standard stuff incorrectly; when do an external link, you don't add a | to set the link display text, so it should be

[https://web.archive.org/web/20190709123112/https://regimental-standard.com/2017/11/01/the-stage-by-stage-guide-to-tyranid-infestation/ Regimental Standard: The Stage-By-Stage Guide to Tyranid Infestation]

Also, could you make sure that the "original link" is the regimental-standard.com link instead of the warhammer-community.com link? You've got a mismatch in a couple places where the archive is different than the original link. Thanks! --Mikaka (talk) 21:28, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
Alright, I'll take a look at those and see about correcting the formatting. It's all dead links, so I'm just exploring the webarchive atm. -RabsRabble (talk) 21:31, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

Imperial literature

Hey. I saw you added A Treatise on the Epistemological Validity of Common Proto-Human Origins to the Imperial Culture page under literature next to the My Wish to Generate Children with You is Only Exceeded by My Devotion to Him which I had added there earlier. I moved the romance book into the newly renamed List of known Imperial literary works and I was going to delete it from the culture page’s literature section since its now redundant. Are you ok with me deleting the treatise from the culture page as well? I just wanted to ask before I do anything since you JUST added it there. I already added it to the literary works list. --TheLibrarian (talk) 00:49, 27 March 2025 (UTC)

  • Go ahead that's fine. Thanks for adding the book to that page's list as well (I didn't know the page existed). I'll be getting around to expanding on it soon enough, but I'm in no rush. Thanks! --RabsRabble (talk) 00:58, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
    • Done. Also good work with the Darktide stuff by the way. --TheLibrarian (talk) 01:02, 27 March 2025 (UTC)

Techmarine

Please, add the Chapter's name to the Cybernetica (novella) source, you created in the Techmarine article. Cybernetica (novella) contains named chapters.--Darkelf77 (talk) 16:02, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Into the Shadows

Hey. Are you sure the Darktide e-short Into the Shadows was written by Dan Abnett? As far as I can tell it was released uncredited, unlike most other Darktide e-shorts. If the story has been confirmed somewhere as written by Abnett, maybe there should be a note about it being initially uncredited? --TheLibrarian (talk) 21:56, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

  • It was through unofficial confirmation channels, but I'll see if I can find a proper source citing it. Until then, I'll keep that off Dan's page. --RabsRabble (talk) 22:23, 5 June 2025 (UTC)
    • Alright. Nice to know it was Written by Abnett. Cheers. --TheLibrarian (talk) 22:25, 5 June 2025 (UTC)

Imperial Terms

Why exactly did you just remove content for much of the page? Harriticus (talk) 01:27, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

  • Felt the page was a did redundant after making it after realizing List of Terms existed. At that point though I had already copied most of the Warhammer Crime book glossaries to make up the foundation of the page. I've since been trying to make individual pages for each of the terms, rather than continuing to add to the vaguely defined list I had initially made. It might still be useful as a lexicon within the lexicon, but I think its still up for debate. Seemed useful as an introductory tool for ill-defined terms that authors tend to avoid drawing attention to. Subjects that are designed to be more intuitively understood, with room for imagination (cogitator, manufactory, data-slate, etc). --RabsRabble (talk) 02:03, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

Krieg Death Riders

Hello. Regarding your recent edits to Death Rider: 1) I assume "neck-deep deep" is supposed to be "neck-deep mud"? (I already changed that one) 2) Is it the "Krieg Calvary School" or the "Krieg Cavalry School" (I assume the latter?). Thanks KazilDarkeye (talk) 19:02, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

  • Thanks for that, yes the latter spelling is correct -RabsRabble (talk) 02:08, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
