The Vanguard was a Dauntless Class Light Cruiser. It was assigned to the Halemnet Base in the Cyclops Cluster of the Gothic Sector. In 142.M41, it was destroyed by a long-range torpedo strike by Chaos warships in one of the first attacks of the Gothic War.[1]
