The Banehammer is a super-heavy vehicle, a close cousin to the venerable Baneblade. It is unknown when it was first created but it has had much use, especially during the recent Tyranid Hive Fleet invasions. The Banehammer took a Tremor Cannon in place of the Battle Cannon to launch projectiles which would bury themselves and detonate only after some distance was reached. The shell would then release a huge shockwave and drastically slow any infantry marching through, even vehicles.
