The Shunta is an experimental Ork weapon. Like many Ork weapon, it is extremely outlandish and seemingly ridiculous in function. The Shunta is a compact magnetic-gravitational 'traktor' gun. Similar to the Lifta-Droppa it can hurl a bubble of energy that smashes targets aside like a giant hammer. They are most frequently wielded by large Ork walkers such as Mega Dreads.1
