The Master of Ordnance is a specialist rank within the Imperial Guard, typically assigned to Command Squads. Artillery experts, they are trained and equipped with auspex identity-arrays, range-finding bionics, and modified rangefinder Servo-skulls in order to more accurately direct artillery fire during combat. The Master of Ordnance communicates directly with his counterparts in artillery companies, relaying the location of enemy forces and calling down a deadly bombardment with an accuracy not otherwise possible.1
