The Making of a Venenum Assassin
Venenum assassins are similar to Callidus Assassins due to their use of the polymorphine drug, enabling them to change their shape into anything they desire. They emphasise the use of poisons and non-technical weapons, shunning noisy or obvious weapons. They use poisoned swords, daggers and blow tubes to kill, and are masters of stealth and disguise, as well as hand to hand combat. They are chosen for their silent approach, when a noisy attacker would compromise the mission.
They prefur to remain invisible, silent. The best assassin is the unknown assassin. They also make use of implants from the Medicus Adeptus to alter their shape and height, helping the polymorphine. They also have implants to let them mimic speech patterns. With the polymorphine injected, they change their entire personailty into the person they are mimicing.
They are often landed behind enemy lines to take the place of a trusted friend of whoever they are trying to kill. They will then only show themselves when the time is right, and then disappear back into the blackness from where they came.
