Conservatory Project
The Conservatory Project was an academic institution that operated outside of the Administratum prior to the Horus Heresy. It was founded by Kasper Hawser.
Background
The Conservatory Project was founded approximately 872.M30 by Dr. Kasper Hawser. It was granted its charter at the Conclave of Lutetia[1a]. The purpose of the Project was to unify mankind by rediscovery of culture and technology lost during the Age of Strife and to understand why the Age of Strife happened.[1b]
Prior to the beginning of the Horus Heresy the Conservatory Project included over 30,000 officers on Terra and an additional 250,000 freelance associates, archaeologists and off world numbers.[1a] It enjoyed the personal approval and interest of the Emperor and Malcador the Sigillite.[1c]
