Vanaheim is an Imperial Forge World known to produce variants of several common Imperial war-machines including the Salamander Scout vehicle^[1a], Griffon^[2a], Medusa^[1b], Centaur^[2b] and Basilisk.^[4]

During the Horus Heresy the Forge World was invaded by the Warmaster's forces.^[3]
