Blood Waves

Blood Waves are roiling Warp Storms, that earned their name when Khorne's Blood Crusade used them as transport within the Octarius War's Cordon Impenetra, after the Great Rift was created.[1]
History
Wherever they struck, the Blood God's hordes would suddenly appear and attack anyone near them. This would continue until the Blood Waves receded and the overwhelming bulk of Khorne's forces vanished with the Warp Storms, as if they were never there.[1]
