Genx was a Trooper of the Tanith First and Only regiment.[1a]
Genx's hand was shot off during the Siege of Vervunhive, when the Tanith were deployed on Verghast.[1a] Despite this, Genx was one of thirty Tanith selected personally by Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt to take part in Operation Heironymo, the mission to infiltrate The Spike and assassinate Heritor Asphodel in the closing stages of the Siege.[1b] After the Imperials stormed the Spike's bridge and shut down the infernal machine, they were confronted by the Heritor himself, who blew Genx to smithereens with a single blow from his power fist.[1c]
