This template should be used for the nine original legions/chapters which remained loyal (Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Ultramarines, White Scars, Iron Hands, Imperial Fists, Salamanders, and Raven Guard.)

If you do not use one of the parameters, delete the line altogether.

Parameters

Name
Mandatory parameter, the name of the described chapter.
Symbol
Filename of the chapter symbol, no [[File:]] necessary.
Marine
The file name of the big marine image, no [[File:]] necessary.
Miniature
Filename of an exemplar miniature of the chapter, try to pick a distinctive one and avoid special characters, no [[File:]] necessary.
Legion Number
Mandatory parameter, the progressive number associated the original legion upon foundation.
Primarch
Mandatory parameter, the name of the Primarch of the chapter, wrap it in [[]] if a page is present.
Founding Chapter
Name of the founding chapter, wrap it in [[]] if a page is present.
Founding
The founding in which the chapter was created, usually in the format [[13th Founding]].
Chapter Master
Name of the current Chapter Master, wrap it in [[]] if a page is present.
Homeworld
Name of the Homeworld, add notes if necessary, wrap the relevant bits in [[]] if a page is present.
Fortress-Monastery
self-explanatory.
Descendants
Comma-separated list of descendant chapters.
Colours
A brief (but somewhat complete) description of the chapter heraldry.
Specialty
The Chapter specialties and traits.
Chapter Strength
The Chapter strength, as in the number of Marines that compose it.
Battle Cry
The official battle cry.
