Photon Lines are a type of transmission system used by the Imperium, being an extremely refined development of fibre optic principle.[1]
Photon Lines are flexible hair-fine strands made from ceramic based materials. They are used to transmit laser light signals to actuators powered by photons. Most systems, which incorporate Photon Lines, use a bundle of lines due to their complexity, even though a single strand can transmit a great deal of information by itself.[1]
