Ancestor Keys are a type of Barrier Tech used by the Leagues of Votann.[1]
Ancestor Keys take the form of a simple ring worn on the finger. Based on ancient technology that is said to have been how the first Votann Ancestor Cores communicated with their crews, the technology predates that seen in Grimnyrs. Ancestor Keys are capable of interacting with not just Ancestor Cores but also Fanes and Crucibles. They are also capable of implanting information given by an Ancestor Core into the mind of a Kin and also grant them temporary psychic visions. They are some of the most prized pieces of technology in the Leagues of Votann.[1]
