Airships are aircrafts used by the Imperium[3] and the forces of Chaos.[1]
Description
Airships of enormous sizes are used in peace-time for inter-hive transportation. In times of war, they can be pressed into service as troop transporter.[2]
Macharius used a highly ornate Airship as personal transport. Gold-plated, heavily armed and armoured, it was as big as a sub-orbital shuttle.[3]
The forces of Chaos use small, missile-shaped Airships, bedecked in garish symbols and brightly dyed. They can carry infantry in belly-slung baskets, gondolas and platforms. These Airships are propelled by diesel-powered propellers situated in nacelles.[1]
