Rond was a member of the Alpha Legion.^[1c]

He served in Terra's Crusader Host during the last years of the Great Crusade.^[1c] However, after the Horus Heresy began, the Primarch Rogal Dorn was unsure of the Host's loyalty to the Imperium. Because of this, Dorn had^[1a] Rond^[1c] and the other members of the Host incarcerated within the Khangba Marwu prison.^[1b]
