Defiant Class Light Cruiser

The Defiant class is another varient of the Endeavor with the weapons batterys replaced in this case, by flight decks. The Defiant is used as an escort for larger ships, or as a attack craft carrier for a convoy. The Defiant is a capible carrier, but too vunerable to opperate without support, as it has no defensive firepower. It is often seen alongside its sister classes, the Endeavor and Endurance classes.

The Defiant has its two flight decks, and two short range lances upon its prow. Its lack of firepower often religates it to opperating behind the main lines, giving support to larger ships, rather than as an escort.

Two famous ships of the Defiant class exist, both were lost as they gained their fame. They are the Forebearer and Archangel.
