Background
The Angels of Absolution stand out from the other Dark Angels' successors as their armour is bone white compared to the dark colours of the other chapters4,5.
Their structure and belief are still very similar to those of their progenitor chapter, to the point that the two chapters have often joined forces and pooled resources in the hunt of The Fallen. The only noticeable difference in their doctrines is that the Angels of Absolutions consider themselves absolved (nomen est omen) of their own sins during the Fall of Caliban, and place a greater amount of emphasis on their holy duty of just hunting the Fallen as such and not to redeem themselves6.
Notable Battles
- Corinthian Crusade This campaign was against the Ork empire of Charadon. This seven year crusade inflicted heavy damages on the Orks and delayed the invasion of Waaagh! Argluk by 30 years.3
- Thirteenth Black Crusade2 The Angels of Absolution fielded all 10 companies against the forces of chaos in this conflict.
