Fleet based

Generally a term for Space Marine chapters with no homeworld, a Fleet Based army stays on ships in lulls of battles, transporting, time in reserve etc. Many Chapters who betrayed the Imperium only to rejoin the Imperium are Fleet Based because they had to forfeit their homeworld.
