Ku, the maker of the land and the sky, is a god in the Ratskins' mythology, who created Necromunda and is the ancestor of its Ratskin tribes.[1]

History

After Ku created Necromunda, though, he grew sad as the god had no one to share the pleasures of his creation with. He attempted to change this by searching for another living being on the newly created world, but no one, as Ku had made Necromunda empty and lifeless. Finally after years of fruitless searching, the god was struck by despair and laid down on the sterile world, before Ku let his life ebb into Necromunda. His body then began to disintegrate, but as it did so, all manner of living things came into being. This included the Palpala, the Nonborn, who grew from the fingers of Ku's left hand and became the Ratkins' ancestors. It is because of this connection, that the Ratskins tribes believe themselves to be descended from Ku.[1]

Trivia

Ku was created by the Games Workshop employee Andrew Stickland and appeared in The Citadel Journal 18.[1]
