Poxflab
Poxflab the Slayer is a Death Guard Lord of Contagion, who took part in the invasion of the Tri-forge Cluster during the Charadon Campaign.[1]
History
He was among the Death Guard's forces that sought to claim the world of Duos from the Thousand Sons. The embattled world had been heavily transformed by the Tzeentch's powers and Poxflab's forces marched into the newly created Sapphire Forest. Everything within the Forest was made from gems and it was infested by herds of Tzaangor. To the Death Guard, though, the Sapphire Forest was a prime site to be infested by Nurgle and Poxflab sought to topple its trees. When the Death Guard began to carve a path through the Forest, though, the Tzaangor attacked with Mutalith Vortex Beasts and Chaos Spawn. It soon became a war of attrition between the two forces, but Poxflab had no strategy other than to destroy everything in his path. In the end, however, the creatures of Tzeentch were no match for the might of the Death Guard and the Tzaangor herds were wiped out. The Sapphire Forest fell to Poxflab's forces soon afterwards and a new forest dedicated to Nurgle began to grow over its remains.[1]
