One of the countless Militarum Regimentos formed in the image of of the illustrious Cadians. The 182nd Truskan Snowhounds are suited to wage war in harsh winter environments.[1a]
Overview
182nd Truskan Regiment are known to wage warfare in harsh winter environment, thanks to their ice-world home planet of Trusk. The Regiment has gained a reputation for being extremely hardy warriors. They are often also seen in their now-ubiquitous snow camouflage.[1a]
The regiment would also deploy sharpshooters and they have years of experience due to a lifetime of hunting wild beasts in the snow-bound outerlands of Trusk in turn bred keen-eyed warriors.[1b]
Uniform
Truskan Veteran: Truskan Veterans wore Truskan MKIV Flak Helmet with camo cover (Ice Scar) as standard issue helmet. For fatigues and armor, they wore Truskan Pattern Fatigues with Flak Vest (Glacial Might) with fatigues colored in green and armour colored in white. For trousers, they wore Truskan MKIII fatigues (Glacial Might) as standard issue.[1b]
Truskan Zealots: Truskan Zealots wore the Harsh Environment Flak Helmet with googles (Glacial Might) as standard issue helmet while some troopers dislike incorporated auto-flare shields and instead used googles as an alternative. For fatigues and armour, they wore Padre's Truskan Pattern Fatigues with Flak Vest (Glacial Might) with an attached book of teachings from a favourite saint. For trousers, they wore the Truskan MVI Fatigues (Glacial Might) and used bandages to hide devotional scriptures from Commissars who are stickler for uniform dress code.[1c]
Truskan Psykers: Truskan Psykers wore Harsh Environment Flak Helmet with Psykana Collar (Glacial Might), the Psykana circuitry is wrapped to protect against the cold and rain. For fatigues and armour, they wore Truskan Sanctionite's Greatcoat with Flak Vest (Glacial Might) as standard issue. For trousers, they wore Truskan MKI Fatigues as standard issue with some psykers prefer to wear water-resistant gaiters for extra mobility than wearing armoured shin plates.[1d]
Truskan Ogryns: Truskan Ogryn wore the Harsh Environment Flak Helmet (Glacial Might) as standard issue helmet. For fatigues and armour, they wore the Truskan Pattern Fatigues with Flak Vest (XXXXL) (Glacial Might) as standard issue. For trousers, they wore Truskan MKIII Fatigues (XXXXL) with the dark green colors help break their silhouette and enhanced the white armour camouflage.[1e]

- Thunderclap - The Rumbler or Kickback grenade launcher used by the Truskan Ogryns.[1f]
- Arctic Survival Pack - A survival pack comprised of basic rations, a rope, a folding entrenching tool, and most importantly a thermal mat. A simple set of items the could spell the difference between life and death.[1g]
- Ol' Realiable - Helbore Lasguns used by the older sharpshooters in the regiment and swore that the old-fashioned iron sights and their sharply honed eyesight are better than any augmented targeting systems.[1h]
- MKVII Snow Shovel (Glacial Might) - Latrin Shovel used by Ogryns for combat and snow-clearing duties.[1i]
- Bianzeer's Revenge - Combat Axes used by the regiment in honour of those lost comrades in the Herraldo Forests on the Death of Bianzeer.[1j]
- Winter's Wrath - Psyker Staffs used by the Truskan Psykers during combat.[1k]
- Icefall Shard - Blaze Force Greatsword used by Truskan Psykers during combat.[1l]
