The 4th Company of the Sons of Horus Legion (formerly the Luna Wolves Legion) was active during the Great Crusade and the Horus Heresy.[1] By 004.M31, the company (or parts of it) were assigned to the 16th Independent Battalion.[3a]

- 004.M31: Burning of Prospero — The parts of the 4th Company assigned to the 16th Independent Battalion suffered heavy losses during this operation, despite officially encountering little military resistance. Later scholars speculated that the 4th Company was secretly purged of loyalists during the battle.[3a]
