The 6th are known as stringent taskmasters and strategic thinkers. The Grand Master of the 6th, the High Seneschal of the Citadel of Titan, is tasked with crafting the most elite and deadly strike forces. Rather than mass firepower, the 6th relies on surgical strikes of elite small squads. When mass manpower is necessary, the 6th will deploy mindless Servitors to bog down the enemy to allow the Grey Knights to focus on higher risk targets.[2]

- M42 - Cleansing the maze-like fortifications of Baranthi. Unbeknownist to the Traitor Regiments stationed there or their Tau paymasters, Baranti's ancient earthworks hold back the Warp in the region and damage to it could damn the entire system.[5]
- M42 - 2/3rds of the 6th Brotherhood is lost in the Belladonyk Purges and the secret wars of the Ivox Deeps. With Brother-Captain Kerda Tannasek dead, Grand Master Caddon Varn was forced to pull the brotherhood back to Titan lest it be destroyed. He then declared that the Brotherhood would defend the Citadel and respond to Warp threats within the Sol System as they seek to rebuild.[6]
