1,002nd Fighter Wing

Known as the "Night Shriekers" after the common name for the Nocturnadon, a predator from their homeworld. All-female unit, including ground crew. Wing badge – a black nocturnadon with spread wings and talons ready – located on tail.[6]

3,659th Fighter Wing
Stationed aboard the Emperor's Sword. Contains 'Harrier' squadron (A squadron), a Thunderbolt squadron. Camouflaged for low level woodland operations on Lammas. In just four days of combat in this campaign, the wing lost 75% of aircraft, shot down by Eldar Nightwings. Such losses are counted as not unusual when facing Eldar aircraft.[4][1b]
The 5082nd involved in the defence of Hive Helsreach during the Third War for Armageddon.[2]
Sixteen of its Lightnings were given the honour to be marked with the Templar Cross after serving with Marshal Tarrison in the Dathax Crusade.[2]
