Bast is a Sergeant of the Flesh Tearers Chapter, commanding an Eliminator Squadron known as the Negators.^[1]

They are currently among the strike force that Chaplain Arken Sabriel is leading into battle. The Negators, though, have become quietly envious of how much time the other squadrons get to spend in close combat with the enemy.^[1]

• Bast, the Negators and Arken Sabriel were created by the Games Workshop employee Wade Pryce and they were featured in a Warhammer Community article.^[1]
