Battle Group Hephaestus is a Battle Group of Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus.[1]
Falling under the personal command of Belisarius Cawl, the Battle Group consists largely of Mechanicum armies including elite Skitarii formations from Mars. It has been dispatched to the Nephilim Sector to combat the Pariah Nexus ahead of the arrival of Roboute Guilliman himself. However, it is hindered by the differing agendas of many of the Mechanicum Magi within the Battle Group.[1a]
