The Belial is an Emperor Class Battleship which serves as the flagship of Commodore Thalion Vycorious[1a], overall commander of the Calixian 5th Expeditionary Battlefleet[1b].
The Belial has become a legend of the Achilus Crusade's battlefleets, having fought at the head of a dozen engagements against alien forces. The Belial's presence among other ships in the fleets is considered a sign of the Emperor's favour, and its crew is considered one of the most elite amongst the Crusade's forces.[1a]
