Squat Brotherhood Banners.^[1]

Brotherhoods or War-Brethren are the principle military forces of Squat Strongholds, traditionally led by Warlords the Stronghold's Lord's children. Brotherhoods may be sent on expeditions to war against Xenos, to search for lost Strongholds, and even for piracy.^[1]

Any squat in the stronghold may be called to serve in a brotherhood, although tradition dictates that those called have raised at least two sons to maturity, and they serve for a period of 30-70 years after which a returning squat is said to have reached full adulthood through his millitary experience.^[1]
