Brotherhood of the Amber Eagle
The Brotherhood of the Amber Eagle was a White Scars Brotherhood, that took part in the Horus Heresy's Siege of Terra.[1]
History
As the Siege wore on, they were among the Imperial forces that defended the Imperial Palace's inner walls. They succeeded in repelling several assaults by Warmaster Horus' Chaos forces, but suffered severe casualties in the process. It was an attack led by the World Eaters, that finally forced them to abandon their position and retreat into the inner Palace. However the attack had shattered the Amber Eagle and its Khan, Ajak Khan, had been killed in the battle. Because they were too understrength to be returned to battle, the White Scars disbanded the Amber Eagle and sent its members to reinforce other Brotherhoods instead.[1]
