Cinderak Crater
Cinderak Crater, also known as the Great Crater or Gothrul’s Grave, is a pivotal location in the Great Equatorial Wastes of Necromunda.[1]
Overview
Stretching over a hundred kilometers across, this crater marks the site where Hive Meridian once stood, devastated during the Two-Faced War. Gothrul Helmawr's attempt to sabotage Hive Primus led to the hive's destruction by its macro plasma reactor explosion, leaving a massive crater nearly a kilometer deep.[1]
Centuries later, Cinderak Crater has become a focal point for north-south trade on the Palatine Plateau and a prime scavenging site. At its heart lies Cinderak City, sprawling across the ruins of Hive Meridian and serving as a major settlement and trade hub. It attracts convoys from all directions, fostering commerce among numerous smaller settlements scattered across the Equatorial Wastes and beyond.[1]
Cinderak City is a magnet for conflict among the Clan Houses, each vying for influence and control over its lucrative trade routes and resources.[1]
