Ferianwyr Greensteel
Their voidshields are down and their weapons are spent. Match trajectories and prepare to board them. Whoever brings me the traitor’s may have their pick of his wargear.[3c]
Ferianwyr Greensteel[1], the Emerald Princess, Blade-Mistress and Captain of the Verdant Blade is the Corsair Princess leading the Greensteel Warriors.[3a]
Biography
These Eldar Corsairs reside within the remote outermost portion of the Gilead System known as the Voidmire. Greensteel seeks the ancient eldar artefact called the Dream of Vileth buried with the downed eldar ship The Song of Rhana Dandra. Out of a sense of duty, and while fairly intoxicated, she swore to protect the imperilled Craftworld Ul-Khari upon witnessing its collision with Trollius on the outskirts of the system.[3b]
Greensteel is a mercurial Corsair Princess and under her whimsical command, the Corsairs of Gilead seem to randomly practice both piracy and diplomacy.[2] Ferianwyr has a close alliance with the Rogue Trader Jakel Varonius. In addition she maintains a clandestine arrangement with Inquisitor Tytrona Dikaisune of the Ordo Malleus; although the Inquisitor has puritanical views and disgust for xenos, Tytrona cannot ignore the advantage of maintaining an alliance with Ferianwyr in order to track and eliminate daemons and their worshipers.[3d]
