The Greensteel Warriors, as they are known in Low Gothic,[2b] are an Eldar Corsair fleet active in the Gilead System led by the Emerald Princess Ferianwyr Greensteel.[1]
Overview
The Corsair band had planned to leave the Gilead System prior to the arrival of Craftworld Ul-Khari. After decades of plundering the Gilead System full of lesser-races trapped by the local warp storm, their initial excitement had eventually faded, and they planned to leave. But the arrival of asuryani aboard Ul-Khari had piqued their interest, so they remained.[2a]
The Greensteel Warriors came to the aid of Craftworld Ul-Khari.[1] When the craftworld collided with a frozen rogue planet ejected by the Great Rift as it tore across the Gilead System, the Emerald Princess swore an oath to protect Ul-khari for all time. Although she was possibly inebriated at the time, she remains loyal to her word.[2a] The Greensteel also seek the ancient eldar artefact the Dream of Vileth buried with the downed eldar ship The Song of Rhana Dandra.[1]
