Huscarl (Red Corsairs)
The Huscarls are the veteran Terminator armoured elite of the Red Corsairs[1a], who serve as an Honour Guard for the Warband's commander, Huron Blackheart.[1b]
Description
When not accompanying him into battle[1b], the Huscarls will guard the outside entrances to whichever room Blackheart is in[1a][1b]. While some Huscarls are former Astral Claws[1a] or Aspirants who became Red Corsairs, there are former Space Marines in the Honour Guard as well. For these Huscarls, Blackheart keeps at least one from each Chapter that serves him, guarding the entrance to the Palace of Thorns on New Badab. In part to show his power and because it amuses him, Blackheart will always have these Space Marine Huscarls stand beside their Chapters' old rivals or enemies. However when they are called upon, the Huscarls will quickly work together to ensure Blackheart's safety.[1b]
