Iron Isles
The Iron Isles, also called the Isles of Iron,[2] are a range of volcanic mountains on Fenris that serve as a forge for the Space Wolves' Iron Priests, who smith the chapter's weapons and equipment directly inside the lava pools.[1]
These smoke-shrouded isles skirt Asaheim[2] and lie amidst the Boiling Sea.[3] Sometimes a Fenrisian youth may seek out the Iron Priests within, whom they know as the Gods of Iron. A rare few will become apprentices and Space Wolf aspirants, the vast majority of these pilgrims become servitors for the sin of wasting an Iron Priest's time.[2][3]
The Isles were famously the site of Arjac Rockfist's heroism that won him his place at Logan Grimnar's side, defending the sealed stronghold from the attack of a thousand krakens, virtually single-handed.[1][2]
