The Kabal of Crimson Woes are a Dark Eldar Kabal. They are Corsairs that regularly commit piracy within the Calixis Sector.[1a]
Overview
They also act as raiders for hire and have frequently worked for the Serrated Query, a ruthless band of war profiteers dealing in black market goods. They assisted the Serrated Query in trying to obtain the Liber Daemonica, a book on denizens of the warp[1c], from the Space Hulk Twilight but were foiled by agents of the Inquisition[1d]. They use large packs of warp beasts when raiding.[1a]
Notable Members
- Akirvas - A Haemonculus and the Kabal's principle Truth Seeker. He led the raid aboard the Space Hulk Twilight.[1c]
- Ketserar - A scout with a fondness for feeding unsuspecting victims to Warp beasts. He was killed aboard the Space Hulk Twilight by Brother-Sergeant Agamorr of the Deathwatch and a band of Inquisitorial Acolytes.[1b]
Notes
- In Dark Heresy: Purge the Unclean, the Kabal is variously referred to as the Kabal of the Crimson Woes or Kabal of the Crimson Woe. In the later-published Black Crusade Core Rulebook, they are exclusively referred to as the Kabal of the Crimson Woe.
