Kane (Assault Marine)

Kane was an Assault Marine in the Ultramarines^[1] Legion, who took part in the Horus Heresy.^[2]

History

He fought^[1] in the Horus Heresy's Battle of Tallarn and was part of the Imperial reinforcements, that broke through the blockade the Traitors had around the besieged world. Their efforts to deploy on Tallarn was nearly ended by a group of Legio Mortis Chaos Titans, until the Legio Astorum Princeps Marnoc intervened with his Warlord Titan Fortunata Imperiatrix and saved them.^[2] Kane and the Ultramarines then moved to retake the captured city Rogsburg, with the aid of Imperial Titans. However it was held by the Thousand Sons, who were able to repel several of their attacks. In the Imperials' next attempt, they sought to seize Rogsburg's Bromium Refinery and the Assault Marine joined their efforts to do so. Eventually the attacks were successful and the city was reclaimed by the Imperial forces.^[1]
