Lazlo Gratimar Lo Kalligen (service number 2098231) was a Lieutenant of the 42nd Paragonian Armoured active in the early 41st millennium.[1b]

Biography
Early Life
Back on Paragon VI, Lazlo was born into Clan Kalligen, but was adopted into Clan Bannick as part of a trade[1b], becoming a close associate of Colaron Artem Lo Bannick.[1a][1b] He spent little time learning the customs of the clan, however, as he (correctly) assumed that he was going to land a job in the military and he also developed a reputation as a drinker and a letch.[1a]
Initially Lazlo was going to have a posting in the planetary defence militia. However, the Departmento Munitorum called on Paragon to raise a number of Imperial Guard Regiments only two weeks after he signed up and Lazlo was drafted into the Paragonian Regiments.[1a][1c]
Service
The 42nd Paragonian Armoured were one of the regiments involved in the Kalidar War, fighting to retake the Imperial Mining World of Kalidar IV from invading orks. While fighting on the Kostoval Flats the Imperial forces were ambushed by the orks and forced to retreat. When the Imperials regrouped at Hive Modulus, Lazlo was missing, presumed dead (due to the harsh desert conditions of Kalidar IV).[1b]
