Mesh Armour is a type of Imperial armour, that is constructed from tiny metal rings or thousands of thermoplas cells that are linked together.[1][2]
Description
Originally designed by Xenos, it offers more protection than Flak Armour, without sacrificing any of the wearer's mobility. A fabric-like material, when exposed to heat or sudden impacts the material, Mesh armour becomes momentarily rigid spreading and dissipating the attack and can be made into numerous styles of protective garments including gloves, cowls, vests and cloaks. Though typically light weight and comfortable, when Mesh Armour is worn in especially large quantities, it can however, become extremely heavy. While the finest variants of this armour can only be manufactured by xenos, even the cruder human variants of excellent protection.[1][2][3][4]
