Mind-locked Wyrd
Mind-locked Wyrds are Necromunda Unsanctioned psykers, that have been captured by the Psi-Syndica and then turned into the organisation's loyal soldiers.[1][2]
Description
Mind-locked Wyrds are unsanctioned psykers controlled by the Psi-Syndica through psychic modifications and implants, transforming them into loyal foot soldiers for criminal lords. Despite being unsettling, their abilities, such as mind reading, creating protective force fields, and telekinesis, make them valuable in battle, even if gangers are wary of them.[1]
The penalty for harboring rogue psykers on Necromunda is severe, with executions for those involved, while the psykers are quietly taken away. The most dangerous psykers might still slip through the cracks. Some are collared and conditioned to serve the Imperial House, but many more escape into the underhive, where the strongest might thrive.[1]
