Needle Rifle[3]
The Needle Rifle is a type of Needler.[1]
These standard Needle Weapons fire crystallized poison into their targets, and are favored by specialized Hive Gangers, assassins, Inquisition[3], Rogue Traders[3], and other clandestine operatives.[1] They are also used by the Sisters of Silence[2] and during the Horus Heresy were used by Space Marine marksmen.[4] Needle Rifles are prized for their combination of range, stealth, deadliness, but are next to useless against armoured targets.[3]
Known Patterns
- Assault Needler: Rapid-fire version used by the Sisters of Silence.[2]
- Needle Carbine: – An assault weapon, releasing a volley of solid steel needles in bursts.[4]
